TV Patrol World

TV Patrol World is the flagship national network news broadcast of ABS-CBN in the Philippines. It can be heard simultaneously in DZMM and its TV counterpart, DZMM TeleRadyo. It pioneered the Philippine newscasts, with fast-paced delivery of news reports, accompanied with flashy graphic animations and music. It is the most watched news program in the entire Philippines. TV Patrol celebrates their 20th Anniversary since its inception in 1987 (as TV Patrol), it has been the longest running Filipino primetime newscast.

For 20 years, "TV Patrol" has been the definitive source of information. One of the show’s historic marks happened during the Martial Law when they broke media silence and brought information to the people. Until now, "TV Patrol World" continues to pursue this dedication for truth and constantly involves the citizenry through Citizen Journalism. It was then innovated through the use of technology in TV Patrol World’s segment Citizen Patrol and ABS-CBN’s breakthrough election campaign, "Boto Mo iPatrol Mo," which recently won the Award for Excellence in the Philippine Gold Quill Awards and Honorable Mention in the Asia Pacific PR Awards.
